Akij Air mainly deals with air ticketing and selling, making travel planning easy and customer satisfaction high.
Aviation and OTA (Online Travel Agency) industry is very popular and highly competitive globally. All travel service providers try to offer the best travel experience. In such competitive market setting up Akij Air is challenging. Users prioritize “Ticket Price” over overall user experience. So they buy tickets from sites that offer the lowest price.

We focused on making ticket booking and payment as easy as possible for users. We designed user friendly navigation and clear information architecture to make ticket purchasing seamless. We observed that most websites show flight details in collapsible format but users prefer to see that in popup for quick glance. By using more white space we highlighted important details like baggage information, flight duration and layover time with transparency.
We also added facet filter to help users to find the lowest priced tickets and easiest travel route. For traveler and travel partner information input we designed the best user experience so that it’s just one click away.
In the end users want lowest priced tickets with good service. To fulfill this demand AKIJ Resource will work with IATA and other organization to reduce ticket price through coupon codes and additional facilities. So we got around 1500 B2B agencies in Bangladesh within 15 days. In B2C market Akij Air became the top choice for users.
