HireDesk is an innovative recruitment management system that changes the hiring game. Using the Design Thinking Framework we created a seamless, efficient platform that caters to the needs of Hiring Managers and Candidates. With simplified job posting, advanced CV sorting and easy candidates evaluating, HireDesk makes recruitment from start to finish. Our user friendly design, customizable interview pipelines and automated workflows cuts hiring time in half, so collaboration and decision making is a breeze within one system.
Peopledesk (HRMS) customers asked for a recruitment solution to simplify their talent acquisition process. Currently their recruitment is very manual: job posts are published without tracking candidates and they use Google Forms and spreadsheets for management. One of the biggest pain points for talent acquisition specialists is sorting CVs/Resumes to find the best candidates as they don’t have filtering options. For assessments they create and manage individual forms manually, tag them to job posts without any automated transactional activity with the resumes. Both the interview and assessment process is manual with limited analytics and reporting. They cannot send offer letters through their system so the whole process is cumbersome and inefficient.

Design HireDesk we followed the Design Thinking Framework. We empathized with key personas: Hiring Managers and Candidates, understanding their pain points and goals. Hiring Managers wanted a one-step process to post a job, candidates wanted a one-click application process.
We defined the problem, set measurable metrics and created a user journey map. For Hiring Managers we simplified the process: they can write job responsibilities, requirements and benefits in one segment, define salary, location and other details on the same page and set up the interview pipeline all in one flow. For candidates we created a portal where they can apply in one-click if they have a profile on HireDesk.
For CV/Resume sorting we introduced advanced facet filtering options which Hiring Managers loved. After resume sorting, managers can evaluate, eliminate and move candidates to the next stage. They can manage interviews and assessments, record ratings and send offer letters through the system.
We created a design language and navigation framework. We started with low-fidelity wireframes, refined them into high-fidelity and then developed a design prototype. This structured approach ensured a seamless and user friendly experience and both Hiring Managers and Candidates were impressed with the efficiency and ease of use.
I led the UX design for this project as the only UX designer and was involved from October - December, 2022. I established a solid UX framework and created an amazing experience for Hiring Managers and Candidates. I built the full business process with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) so every feature was user centered and intuitive. The result was a working solution that delighted users with its simplicity and effectiveness.
We sped up the hiring process for our clients so they can make the best hires in half the time. We automated manual tasks like scheduling interviews, getting approvals, and managing offer letters and e-signatures. Customizable pipelines, interview kits and scorecards made the process even more efficient. Our platform allowed hiring teams to collaborate seamlessly, evaluate candidates, gather feedback and make decisions all in one recruiting system.
The complete experience and storytelling details will be discussed internally. Thank you. Please proceed to the next slide. Enjoy!
