This software was part of a heavy ERP template, making it uncomfortable for employees and HR to use. Users had to go through many steps to complete tasks and payroll had to be generated manually from the backend. The complex UI led to low employee engagement, most tasks were done on paper before entering into the system. Tracking employees was difficult and multiple issues required different solutions from different places. Management wanted to solve these issues and sell the software as a SaaS solution in the market. But due to loose coupling there were many integration issues with other systems like payroll, compensation, benefits and time tracking tools. As a result most of the employees were not using the system.
We focus on user outcomes. Apply Enterprise Design Thinking Principles that puts users at the center of work and solves for their needs. We made a bridge the gap between business objectives, technical constraints and user needs for better user outcomes. Using As-Is-Scenario Map and To-Be-Scenario Map process, we clustered all transactional data and reduced the number of input-fields and simplified data entry. Advanced automation now allows one click payroll generation, that was very hard before. The comprehensive dashboard integrates attendance calendars, leave management, movement tracking and time adjustments into one view so users have a holistic view. From onboarding to retirement we designed the entire employee journey including transfers, promotions, salary management and organizational charts. Consolidated approval process ensures pending applications are easily accessible for quick action. We conduct interviews with employees, HR managers, and administrators to gain insight into their pain points and opportunities. Develop a user journey map to facilitate the completion of their daily objectives. The dashboard will display the critical data, which should be both actionable and focused on a daily basis.

PeopleDesk solution increased HRMS user engagement and satisfaction score in AKIJ Resource (Internal Company). The simplified user experience and automation reduced task completion time and manual data entry errors. This led to high adoption rate among employees and overall efficiency and user satisfaction. The new user experience also enabled faster onboarding, accessibility across multiple devices and a more intuitive navigation so users can do their tasks with ease.
